    Some of my "Beginner Projects"

    Hello All,

Finally have time (since I'm right in the middle of wiring up the home switches) to post some of my beginner projects. (Please excuse my picture taking-still trying out a new camera)

First one was my relay board. I figured to have the CNC build it and save myself a lot of time and frustration using the old trusty Dremel. This is a pic of the first try while the second one came out better which I used.
Second one is playing around with text engraving.
Third one is trying some art engraving.
Forth one is a small sign I made up. I lost my mom this past Tuesday and the wifey said to go buy a plant to remember her by so I picked up a small mini-palm and did up this little sign for it.

Thanks to all for the help.

    Mark

Sorry for your loss. My mother transcended on Feb 2, 2009 (her birthday is on the 20th) so I think about her a lot and can relate to your situation.

Thanks for sharing your work - they look fantastic being the first few. I'm carving out new brackets for my Dremel and then I might cut one for my DeWalt DWD112 drill to hold the new 3/8" Diamond Drag engraver that I just got. Actually that's a bit overboard. I'll make a small extension with a 3/8 hole to slide the bit into.
