    running direction problems

hooked up the motors and they all ran except the motors wouldn't run at low feedrates they would just jimmy back and forth and when I would jog or run a short program the machine doesn't always run in the right direction, if I tell it to go in the - direction it might keep going in the plus direction but then it would go in the - direction there was no set pattern. using a laptop with +5v from the usb port and running cncpro. Any suggestions? Running Camtronics control stepper motors

You may not have a good ground. Change you're acceleration settings as well, the accleration may be to fast, it it's not set right the steppers will not run right .
