I was wondering what every one uses for protection against power surges and outages , Will a power outage destroy the board? Its winter time and the wind is blowing, thanks for any help. Graham  |

| I hope not, I just wired my e-stop to the line in! Still I'm also interested in everyone's opinion...I'm guessing that a line conditioner couldn't hurt. |

I put a UPS between the wall and every piece of potentially crispy electronics I have. This includes all CPUs, my microproc test board and the entire mill setup (board, motors and computer included. I have been on the wrong end of a bad surge once. I don't plan to go there again. |
