    No Motion

Here is the situation. I'm using turbo cnc with xylotex driver.Computer is a amd k6 "processor 2" 3d now, 450 mhz. 186 mbites. I grounded all three enab to ground pin on molex. Not sure if thats right, tried them ungrounded also. I've just got one motor hooked up right now on the x axis. 5v logic is from a tie in off of the cd rom. The motor does have power indicated from a humm or soft whislte sound but no motion when jogging or anything. The questions I am now asking are: should I have grounded enab for xyz? Could the parallel cable be "not wired all the way"? Is there a "uS" (pule width) setting or other not set correctly. Tried many configurations of max start herz and such. Step is set positive high. Could I have one of those computers that just won't work with program? Also for some reason files for turbo cnc cannot be copied off of floppy disk. I tried two different disk drives. I get a message of unable to read . Any help. Boy I'm beat and its probably somethin simple as is the story of my life. Thanks anyone

    Flute Head,
What kind of board is it? It will be worth you while to register with the Xylotex Support board:

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Xylotex

Also, if you e-mail Jeff directly, he has been very fast at responding to my e-mails.

    Hope This Helps,
    George

Are the motors locking with power applied? If so, check the parallel port address in TurboCNC.

If the Motors lock up, then it's a TurboCNC issue, not a Xylotex issue.
