Is there a way to add overvoltage and overcurrent protection to the more recent Xylotex driver boards? Has anybody here ever done this? Would a Simple Series Regulator placed between the power supply and the driver board do the trick? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linear_...ener_regulator The reason I ask is because I recently burned my driver board because of a motor disconnect and had to send it in for repair. I would like to add protection against this so it doesn't burn my driver board again. I would appreciate any input. thanks |
