    Is anyone running a 640oz nema34 on a xylotex 4 axis?

I need a nema34 for my SX3's z axis. Is this to much for the xylotex to handle?

Sorry but it wont get the required amps out of a Xylotex for that size motor.
To keep the Xylotex board you could try a Nema23 425 or 497 oz motor but I have no idea if this is strong enough for the Z axis.

I am converting an X3 with the CNCFusion deluxe kit and the most economical choice as I saw it was Gecko or Kelling drivers.
    cheers,

Thanks, I have the Xylotex kit that came with 4 of the 425oz motors. On the motors it is labeled as a 5 amp per phase motor. So I wasn't sure.

I ended up adding an adapter plate for the cncfusion kit I have to accept the nema23 on the original nema34 bracket. Working like a champ!

From the sounds of it bigger motors would actually make things worse, and be a waste of money. From the info you give there, the Xylotex might not be running the specific motors you have now at even half thier ability.
If you need more power, Gecko, Keling, or MCP drivers with the same motors will give lots more power and at a significantly higher speed to boot due to the higher voltage.
Xylotex are great boards, but they are limited to effectively running motors around 300 oz/in range or less. A bigger motor doesn't help after that point, it can actually hurt performance seriously.

    Thanks Keling

What is the price of your x3 complete package. I looked on your site but it didn't have a price listed.

    Thanks
