Xylotex Direction Z -axis problem

Hi,
I was setting up my CNC machine with Turbocnc. All axis' were working fine, then I came back to it an hour or two later and now my z-axis seems to have only one direction. It does not go both ways, it only turns the one way. I don't know what is causing this. I didn't change anything in the software. The motor is getting the step signal but not the direction I guess. It was working great a little while ago. All the other axis' are working fine. Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to make a project tonight as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Check you setup to make sure your direction pin is correct for that axis? Did you move or do anything to the cable from the PC to the driver board?

Did you ever find a resolution to your "direction" problem? I am having the exact same issue and I am not sure what else to do. I swapped the motor cables with an axis that was working fine and the motor reversed properly thus ruling out the motor. I am about to check the DIR pin voltage in either direction, but I wanted to see what your resolution was first. Please advise.

While not this particular user, I did work through another posting here at the zone with a very similar problem. Turns out in mounting his board he used some plastic spiral to neatly route his wiring. This tight coupling wound up affecting his control signals.

One other thing that caused that lost of direction problem for me are loose connections in the motor line. First time it happened just drove me crazy but not on the suceeding times.
