Question Don't hurt the noob ... 1 axis reversed, help

    Hi,

Please don't hurt me I am new here and will make every effort to not be stoopid.

I had my 3 axis router setup with some used motors and controller board I wired myself. My X-axis was going in the wrong direction (not RH orthogonal). I simply swiched the appropriate pins and it worked fine (still feel a bit uncomfortable I did it but it seemed to work).

I just upgraded my sys to Xylotex 425 oz in motors with pre-assembeled box (felt lazy didn't wanna wire it up again) and darn my X-axis is switched again. I know ultimately the threading of the X-axis should have been left-handed but I'm stuck with it. Everything else about the motors and setup is awesome and works great after motors were tuned in Mach3Mill.

So before I burn up my new board & motors I wanted to ping others how to switch it so it runs in the correct direction. Since they are 425 oz in with serial connection I also wanted to make sure I didn't break anything.

    Simply switch A with B and A# with B#?

    Anyone? ... bueller ... bueller ...

In Mach go to Config / homing-limits and toggle "reversed"

    got it another way

    I switched A & A# only ... left B & B# the same

I tried finding how to do it in Mach but I think that was the one section I didn't look in. =(

    Thank for your help!
