    Simple question

I have the Xylotex 4 axis board. Does it hurt the board or my new computer
by plugging in or unplugging the parallel cable with the computer on? In past years they use to say not to but now I'm not sure. thanks........nick

    Hi,

It is not a good idea to plug/unplug the board while PC is on.
    Why would you need to?

Sometimes I am fooling around with a file and after adjustments decide I want to cut it out. It seems like I stuck with a 6' printer cable. My table is
60" X 60" and it's not always convenient to have it connected to the CPU. When I decide to connect it to do a job, I'll have to turn the computer off, restart it and open the programs. I understand it's ok to disconnect usb without shutting down.
