    xylotex and mach3?

    Hey everybody...
    i just got my xylotex board hooked up...but have had no success getting it to move from my computer. I'm using mach3...but it is honestly totally foriegn to me. If anybody knows of a walkthrough...or can give me a step by step to get even just one of these steppers to rotate...I'd be much appreciative.

    thanks,
    -Bay

    Hello ;
    First did wire it all up right ? Double check all connections. Did you use the steps in the board manual ? , and when you apply power do motors lock up, can't move the shafts. Did you do all the Vref on all motors? Do you know what pins to tell Mach to run the motor on , step/dir ? Do you aready have motors mounted on a machine ? If so and motors power up , maybe there is something binding ? Let me know all the facts. It takes a little tweeking but it so worth it. Welcome to the world on CNC ............

    Watch the help videos at www.machsupport.com They explain in pretty good detail how to set up and run Mach3.
