running high Amp steppers question.

Hi Guys,

I got my Xylotex 3-axis board the other day and need to buy some steppers. I have a chance to get some high current motors (4A and 8A). I know the Xylotex board can supply 2.5A, and am wondering if I will have any ill affects running these steppers other than I won't be getting all the torgue I can out of them.

Any help would be appreciated!

OK, disregard my question above. I'm going to go with the Automationdirect 276 oz motors...
