| I just finished wiring up my Xylotex 3 axis kit and have run into an issue. In testing the setup with the motors not hooked up to my machine I found everything to be good. So I hooked up just the X axis motor to my Taig mill and after about 3 minutes of so the motor just stopped working. No pop, fizzle, smoke or anything. I can hook any motor up to the Z and Y and they work fine but none work on X. It also does not "Lock" the motor. I am using Mach 3 as the controller. I also checked the Vref points after it quit and it still shows 3.42v. How can I test the drive for output to the motor? What do you think could have happend. Thanks in advance for the help guys, this forum has been great! Mike |

| Doesn't sound good. Email Jeff at Xylotex and see if he can fix it for you.

| I don't know what happened, but I had my X axis go out once. (my fault) I sent the card back to Xylotex and he repaired it for about $11.00. I'm not sure if that's still the going rate though. Email Xylotex directly and he responds pretty quick. |
