Xylotex - A rebutable company to deal with ?

I sent them an email five days ago and have yet to recieve a reply or even conformation they recieved it.

Just wondering what other people's experiences have been when contacting Xylotex. Do they normally respond a lot quicker?

From looking at their website, the stepper drive products they sell do look very good and I would like to purchase at least one. Unfortunatly I cant help feeling reluctant to do so, as I dont want to be in a situation where if the drive failed I wouldnt be able to get support in a sensible time frame and then my business would suffer as a result.

    Hi there,

I've been very happy with Xylotex's service. All the emails that I've sent have had a prompt reply and the support is very good. I've asked many questions about setup etc and all have received decent, long replies, not just 2-liners.

Try sending your question again. Maybe it didn't arrive????

    Regards
    Warren
    Have a nice day...

Submit your question to the Xylotex user group on Yahoo. It is very active right now and Xylotex is responding to notes daily.

    UKRobotics,
I am looking at buying the Xylotex 3 axis driver board. Have you been to Simplycnc.com? They sell Xylotex and are UK based. Wondering how their prices compare with Xylotex.com after shipping and import taxes (no idea about import tax).
Maybe if you contact Simplycnc you will get the info you need.

    Thanks for your replys.

I really dont like yahoo. Its a pig to sign up to and then theres all the adverts, still, if thats the only way to get in contact with the right people I guess its worth doing.

Oldmanandhistory: Thanks for the simplycnc link, that looks ideal for my needs. The prices seem good too. Especially when you consider that next day delivery from the U.S is almost impossible or stupidly expensive.

Got to say the Xylotex manuals are great and the online response has been very acceptable both via E-mail and on the list server at Yahoo.

If you just use Yahoo to sign up then the listserver can mail to you and you can mail back.
