    Where's the X1's and X2's?

    Attention Admin.
If you are going to try this mess again segregating mills, how about adding X1's and X2's to the title since you have included threads for those mills here
or put those threads back in the benchtop forum.

Just ask the admin and he will probably make a subforum for the X1 and X2 as well.

I did contact him about the X3/SX3. Thats why he did made this subforum.

They tried this before and it just led to confusion which is my case in point.
Some X1 and X2 threads are in an X3 forum now.
guaranteed people will still post x3 threads in the benchtop forum.

Okey, i understand what you mean.

Anyway i am under the impression that a own forum for the X3/SX3 is a better solution when people get used to it. Even though i usually take a lot of interest in your threads, there is alot that isnt really that interesting for a X3/SX3 user under "benchtop machines".

I might be wrong and if this is the general impression. I can contact the admin again to make it "right".

    Cheers

A separate forum for X3/SX3 is fine as long as the admin keeps it that way.
They didn't do well enough the last time (a Sieg only forum) to keep it organized (moving Sieg threads to the new forum)
or doing like right now, adding threads that don't belong.
Many complained that though they didn't have a Sieg, they still read the threads for general ideas, didn't like jumping back and forth.
These mills may be different but they share MANY same features and components, tooling, electronics etc.
My point is, if they are going to do it, do it right and keep at it.

Why segregate in the first place?, these all ARE benchtop machines right?
It will definitely make it confusing for some, I enjoy reading about everyones builds in one place. Ideas from others builds even if not the same machine can be useful to those in the build process.
If they segregate it why not a 45 series subforum, a bf 20-30 subforum, better yet lump em all together in a chinese machines that need love subforum

Seems the hot topic as of late is the G0704...and BF20 variant...where is its subforum? JK I like to stir the puddin' so to speak

btw, I find it funny that your "X2" thread dwarfs all the X3 threads here ...

I agree if you want to seperate the threads at all, make a sub forum for each type of machine and one for others... It would be nice to have all X2, X3, BF20/30, 45 series info easy to sort through... instead of having to go through the whole benchtop forum(largest on the zone I think?) to find relevant info.

Yeah, I got the higher ups to add a couple more X3 threads to this subforum and put a g0704 and an X2 thread back in the benchtop forum but imagine that, they (al_the_man) still haven't moved my x2 thread back after 2 reports.
    doesn't surprise me.

update 2 hours later, it's been moved back now.
