I squared up another piece of aluminium and mada a motor mount.

Cool, what type of insert and holder did you use? Did you anneal it first?

Ah, nevermind, I overlooked it earlier. I see.... 80 degree

I machined the end of the X ball screw using my g0602 lathe.

Just curious - have you started working on your G0602 conversion, or did you put that off until finishing the X3?

I haven't started yet. I put so much time into converting the x3 that I had to take a break. I am going to get back at it this weekend and I will put some limit switches on and make an edge finder. I will start the lathe conversion next week.

I don't remember what size it was. Something between 2x3 and 3x4 inches. It was a piece of scrap that I got for my favorite price: $0.00.
