I need an adhesive which will cure in about 5 mins under UV light but that I can remove after machining the part it's going to hold. I recal years ago using a reddish pink adhesive which was perfet- it cured under UV to a consistency similar to the mastic stuff you stick round your bath. It could easily be peeled off the component after machining. Unfortunately I,ve lost the contact name. I even phoned up Loctite and they say they do it, but it's not available in the UK. I have, honestly, searched for days for this. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

| This is probably not what you are after, but would something that glaziers use to glue glass together be any good ? I was thinking something like this : http://www.glass-etching-kits.com/uv...lue_orders.htm I think you are after something a little easier to "undo" but if you scroll down it does say that the glue softens in water... not sure how much, I guess if you need to use a hammer to seperate then it MAY not be suitable ![]() Russell. |
