PEX hose/ Tubing?

Has anyone ever used PEX tubing for vac applications? Is there a certain type to use? I'm pulling about 23 Hg and I'd like a more flexible tubing than what I'm using now (white reinforced kitchen faucet spray hose). The PEX looks good with the quick connectors but wasn't sure if it would collapse?

I've used pex tubing but not for vacuum application. Its really not that flexible but I'm sure it wont collapse.

Thanks for the input, I went to check some out today and yes, I think I'm better off using a coil hose for now.
