Hello,
Vacuum pump of my Home CN, controlled by a vacuostat, and an electric relay 12volts, allowing to define a threshold and hysteresis.
The threshold = maximum level of the vacuum to be created, from which the power supply of the pump will be stopped.
Mini Hysteresis = level of vacuum from which the power supply of the pump will be to reactivate, in order to maintain a vacuum sufficient for the good behavior of the part which is with machining.

Favors: the vacuum pump does not turn continuously...
Lastly, below an image of my connections (of concrete, not technical of the whole, I recall that I am cabinetmaker… and not electrician).

If you have other electronics close by it is customary to put a reverse EMF diode across the coil, a 1n4005 or equivalent, the cathode (stripe) goes to positive.
