I have a Kurt D688 that I need to mount longways on my table since it hangs over a bit cross ways to hit the column - if I am not careful on larger parts. I knew it would be large and will get a mounting plate made soon. When longways, the mount locations are just outside the last t-slots where I can;t get a clamp in them.

Anyone see a problem with holding a vise down with the large Mitee-Bite clamps? I have it clamped down and pretty much can't move the thing, it's also keyed on the bottom. Looking at the specs they can hold 3000lbs, but I realize I am clamping to powdercoat. But most of my parts used this way are small and will not have much cutting pressure.
