    Vacuum Fixture

We am looking to make a small reproduction of a Nemi grid to apply over top of the spoiler board, so we don’t have to take the spoiler board off and on and re-machine it each time. The approximate size will be 48” X 36”. The sub-straight needs to be non-porous, so we don’t get any vacuum leaks and will not take on moisture and expand and contract. We are considering a material call Garolite a composite laminated board. The fact that they offer 13 different grades ranging in price from $203.00 to $981.00 for a 48” X 36” sheet.

Does anyone have any experience with Garolite, or any other sub-straight ideas?

    Thanks!!!!!!!
