    Question How to hold thin wood ply 1/16"

    How to hold thin wood ply 1/16"

    just double back tape? I have some carpet tape i could use?
    What about cutting through...does it gum up the mill, pull up etc??

    -or just cut but leave a thin onion skin to hold it...?

    If you aren't going all the way through, though, it would be sub-optimum as thin material can move up/down in the middle which would impact pocketing depth.

    You could use a down spiral end mill or maybe a straight flute and a vacuum table or perhaps the edge clips mentioned by CG. I have used double sided sticky tape and spray-on contact adhesive and both are a pain in the _ _ _.
