I am getting ready to make a few new feather boards for use around the shop and was all set to use some 1/2" maple scraps I had laying around when I remembered I had some HDPE pcs stashed away for jigs, etc. Anyone use this material for feather boards and if so, how well does it work. The HDPE I have is 3/4" thick which should add a bit more rigidity to the fingers of the featherboard. Just getting some feedback on a rainy Saturday morning before heading to the shop ![]() If it rains long enough, I'll make both kinds and compare but would like to hear the experience of others.
