Hi, I am looking for some information on rail replacement for a Biesemeyer Fence that fits on my table saw. I have found stranded 2x3x1/8th inch steel tubing like they use so I would like to change out to a 50 inc cut with ability to use it on the left side of the blade also. This would put the rail at about 84 inches. My question is would it be straight enough to use. I have not used this before so any help I would appreciate. |

Mount a wood face to it and flatten it on a jointer, then laminate the face. That should get it straight and flat.

| I should have walked out of my office and looked at one of the 4 we have in our shop. ![]() If it's not perfectly straight, shim it at the mounting points.
