I have been working to control the dust in my shop and have hooked dust collection up to most power tools. What I have noticed is that the biggest source of dust is the blade of the tablesaw. I cut alot of MDF. I have collection for the base, but need something overhead. That and the fact that I do not like the blade guard has led me to look for inexpensive overhead blade guard with dust collection built in. After looking at several models in the 300 - 600 dollar range, I was going to build my own design, but stumbled across this one by penn state industries. http://www.pennstateind.com/store/tsguard.html Does anyone currently own and use one? If so, what are your thoughts on it? I am looking to find out first of all how effective it is at dust collection, and secondly, I am concerned that the clear guard area would not function well. All others that I have seen have had a "ramp" area that rides up as the board is pushed through. This one does not seem to have that. Everyones input is appreciated. Dan
