It really depends on the puzzle in question in my experience and how it goes together. Where two pieces go together the gap is covered but can affect how other pieces go together. In my limited experience, it is best to cut with a half size bit (For example a 1/16" end mill where I have an 1/8 inch slot) and use dog bone fillets in the corners. The very small dog bone fillet does not distract from the puzzle IMO.

Others here probably can give you more advice on puzzle cutting.

Not sure if this will help you but it will work at 11 3/4" X 8 3/4" about 1/2" deep. you may want to scale it and figure out what tool he used.

You can use the TAP file and add what your machine needs at the start and end, that could make it work. Sorry I don't have the original to convert.

Converting the heart jpg into a clean dxf would yield bad results so I designed a new vector that is ready to machine.

Please post a image of your finished project.

Hi, just started laser cutting some 3D models out of 5mm, 6mm and 12mm ply board. I'm ex RAF and would love some help finding DXF files for WWII aircraft like Avro Lancaster, Supermarine Spitfire and Boeing B-17/B-29. I would really appreciate your guys help and experience.

Did a quick search on GOOGLE using " drawing of Avro Lancaster " and found Outerzone : Avro Lancaster plan : download free vintage model aircraft plan and Series F - F-10 Avro Lancaster Patterns (restoration) - Solid Model Memories
