    Fun Eagle

I had fun cutting out all the pieces for this eagle. It's not quite finished if you can tell. There are a couple pieces missing from the globe because I ran out the wood I was using. I have a nephew who would probably like one of these for Christmas.

It is bigger than the original design. I had to scale it up by 1.6 times the original size. It was designed with 0.125 inch slots and the wood I used was 0.200 thick. Fun, though.

    Thats very cool!

How long did it take to cut, and did you design it yourself?

It took me a couple evenings after work to get the toolpaths all generated and cut the pieces out. The design came from a thread here on the Zone started by Lakeside, called "Share your partfiles or art". There's lot's of cool files in there to toy around with.
