rounding over whilest on the cnc bed

    hi all,

am i hoping for too much?

my cnc is a x2. i have my 5mm cutter in tool 1 and i was hoping to put a rounding over bit in tool two and round both sides at the same time.

    is that even possible?

i have a vacuum hold down bed so maybe i'd have to scrap that and put a sacrifice sheet underneath?

if this is possible it means i wouldnt have to do any manual rounding which would be great!

just after some general ideas please

    thanks
    zac

What are you rounding over, and what thickness? They do make bullnose bits and roundover bits that cut on both sides (top/bottom). You could probably raise the workpiece on vacuum pods or such...
