I am more or less inept when it comes to endmills.
I have a Microcarve v2 coming, my router is a Bosch Colt with 1/8'' and 1/4'' precision collets.
I'd like to do detailed work, milling topological models that will have around 200K plus polygons(it makes Google Earth look pathetic ).

I've read around, however it's a tad confusing to me as my only wood working expertise is in abrasives and sanding wood floors.

Basically I'd love some ideas of what to purchase and where. I have some ideas of what to use for roughing and finish work, but no certainties nor much understanding of the process of getting a block of wood to a finished project. A couple links would be great.
