    Air / Dust fliter

spent a couple of hours today making an air filtration box.

Built around Axminster's (UK) replacement air filter and pre filter and a radiator fan from an old car. Total cost £30, as I had the fan already.

All done, and runs off a battery charger at the moment. Need to put a speed switch in or make a PSU to slow it down as it's a bit windy behind it !

It's just rough and ready, made of scraps and hardboard off cuts. Just to see how it works.

I just have to find somewhere to hang it up now.

Pics should speak for them selves.

    Brilliant design

Brilliant design, especially the auto radiator fan, as it is made to operate in harsh conditions.

    The build is excellent.

    Great planning all around.

    Thanks Zool

I'll give it a coat of paint today and hang it up.

I have a couple of sheets of MDF I need to cut up, so I'll see how long it takes to clear the air !
