| Wave Panel need help!!!! I have a project to recreat a wave panel. The template I have is approx a 24"x120" pattern. I need to make it 48"x120". The problem I am having is that all 4 edges of the panel are different. So I can't just copy the pattern next to it. I will attach a pic of the panel. Also if any one can help I have an autocad file. Sorry i dont know how to attach the pic so if any one is interested I will e-mail it to them Shawn Last edited by Shawnm; 09-27-2005 at 07:27 AM. |

| Could you post the AutoCAD file? 2000 format, if possible.

| Hi John With my software I can view your model but cannot modify it in any way. I assume this in a decorative pattern where the actual dimensions are not critical. My suggestion is this: Rotate the model until the waves are horizontal (about 3 deg) Trim the pattern until you have only one horizontal wave. Trim again until you have only one vertical wave. Copy translate along x and y many times to cover a large rectangle. Rotate the pattern back (about 3 deg) Trim the new pattern to the required larger rectangle. |
