I am using BobCAD-Cam V24 to produce some furniture pieces that will be cut out of 5/8" Plywood and 5/8 OSB.
The client is using a Techno LC4896 machine and I have no idea of its capabilities.
These pieces just need to be produced fast, the plywood and OSB will be covered up with upholstery.
What bit should I use for profiling the pieces? Can I make only one pass and how fast should my feedrate and RPM be? The client is willing to purchase whatever he needs to make this project happen fast and accurate.
Also, now that I have posted the code and sent it to the machine, it runs around in the area and never gets close enough to cut anything. Anyone know what this is all about?

hi i'm not sure how fast to run your machine but the bit I would recommend is a compression cutter that way you get a clean cut on the top of the sheet as well as the bottom, the only thing is that you have to machine into your spoilboard to get a clean bottom cut. Depending on the diameter of the bit you use you should be able to run around 140 in/min for a 3/8 cutter and around 180 in/min for a 1/2 cutter hope that helps
