    Christmas Tradition Ideas

I want to start a family tradition of giving each of my children a homemade gift for christmas.I have several vmc's at my disposal as well as a techno router. My problem is creativity, I dont have any. Is there anyone out there that can help me come up with some unique or unusual ideas?
    Thanks,
    Scott

Perhaps your router could do some thin aluminum ornaments for christmas trees (snowflakes, etc)

or maybe they want some nema-34 motor mounts machined from some aluminum...

    just saying.

    Happy holidays!

Obviously you want something that is not commercially available so depending on their ages and sex, look at something unique to their hobbies and/or occupations, if older. Something that represents either one or can be a gadget that is functional in their line of work or hobby, incorporating their name engraved in it makes it more personal.
