    Looking for ideas

I'm coaching little league this year and I was thinking of making each player a plaque as an after season gift. I have plenty of 3/4 inch Red Oak cut offs that I could use. I want to engrave each players name , the team name and the year. I can add all the text it is the general plaque design I'm looking for. I'm not charging for this so please do not provide links to designs that I have to pay for.

    Thanks

I found a good plaque and now I want to put the association's symbol on the plaque but my graphic abilities are not very good. Could someone convert this to a dxf for me?
    Please and thank you.

How tall do you want it (in inches)? I can trace it and output a 2D .dxf file easily enough.

It's done. At present it is about 7" x 11.3". I'll scale it to whatever you want. It's just simple closed polylines that look like this .jpg image.

    Thank you so much guys!
The logo is for the Soo Minor Baseball.
As I was saying all the kids on the team will get a plaque with the team name and other details. The plaque will be about 8 inches square.

    Thanks again.

I cleaned mine up with node edit to make it a little smoother and added a 8"square so that you can use it as a profile cut to make sure the logo is centered in the square. The logo has 0.475" or so clearance to the 8" profile as a margin.

what do you think of the idea of making a relief of the logo over a baseball? I would cut the relief out of the plaque first then engrave the text around the relief?

That should look good. If you make the logo small you will need to use a very small cutter to get into a couple of the sharper inside corners of the logo.

The 8" square I added can be changed to an 8" circle and details of the thread seams added. In your CAD program you should be able to scale the logo jalessi and I made to any size you need. Group everything before scaling or some parts of it may not scale correctly. When you have it like you want it, ungroup (explode) it before generating gcode.
