How to cut 40 mm hard wood

    Hi everybody,

I am a newbie in CNC and wood working and I want to cut a round bench from 40 mm hard wood.

The tool I use is Kress 800 - I can select between 10.000 and 29.000 rpm.

    1. Please help me to select the best tool to use for a smooth surface between:
SPIRAL ROUTER BIT bit Negative Z=1 - JVL europe
    and
JVL pro-line spiral router bit chipbreaker Positive Z=3 - JVL europe

    2. What rpm and what feed rate should I set ? (max feed rate on my machine is 1500 mm / min = aprox 60 IPM)
    3. How many times should I pass at different depths to cut 40 mm hard wood ?
