Need some help I have a grizzly 1174 I need to find a cheap chuck problem is my threads are 1 1/8" X 12 RH no one makes a chuck for that i was wondering if anyone could help me find what i need this is my first lathe and i would like to drill the center of wood parts. does anyone have a chuck for sale that will fit? any help would be great Thanks |

| Hi, You should be able to get an adaptor for your spindle that will reduce the size from 1 1/8" X12 to 1" X 8 tpi which will take all common chucks. Try Oneway Manufacturing in Canada or Craft Supply USA. If they dont have them they will be able to tell you where to get one. Norm |
