| depth of cut question I am routing some bamboo. I have a 30000rpm router and can run at 50IPM. I will be using a 3/16" bit and doing some detail with a 1/16". I have the code in for making passes with a .08" depth cut. Are my cuts shallow enough, or do I need to ease back more? Thanks |

| All of this depends on how you are holding the part. |

| I'd cut deeper with the 3/16 bit. 1/8 or deeper. Depends on the spindle power, machine rigidity, tool type and sharpness.
