It's hard to tell from the angle of the pic, but It appears to be a much higher helix angle than typical wood router bits.
Not getting a good result at cutting. I am playing with the spindle speed and feeding speed, but just to make sure the end mill is at the right starting point.

What size bit do you need? I'd try a 2 flute downcut spiral router bit from any of the major manufacturers. Freud, Amana, Whiteside,...
