Default Buy a lathe and mount it on CNC

    Hi guys,
I have build a cnc and I operate it for 1,5 year so far and always I had the word 'lathe' in my mind, although I have never used a lathe and what is more, have never used a lathe in combination with cnc. I was thinking what if I bought a new lathe (like this) and mount it to my cnc mdf table? Would this worked?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kostas

that's only a lathe for wooden works
you should align it to X or Y axis ,using a rectified cylindrical piece and a precision comparator
so moving the cnc in paralel way to a perfect cylinder on lathe .
Your rotations on lathe are always the same
and endmill rotations should be calculated about these parameters

Hi friend, yes I know it is a lathe for wood. So, I am glad to hear that it can be done. Awesome.
    Thanks
