Default L10 start somewhere other than the beginning?

I'm using WinCNC with G-code and I have a question.

I have a lot of production files that make many copies of something by using the L10 command, as in:
(stuff to do first, like turn on the spindle, is here)

    L10 R10 C5 X4.250 Y2.175 E0 (MATRIX 10 X 5)
    (file content is here)
    L10

(stuff to do at the end, like turning off the spindle, is here)
In the example above, there are 50 copies (10 rows, 5 columns). Is there a way I can tell WinCNC to start at the 5th position of the 7th row?

I need this because sometimes something goes wrong, and I have to stop the machine. I'd prefer to restart at the copy before the problem and then continue from there. Possible?

    Many thanks,
    Jim

    Jim...
Sorry, but I know of no parameters or tricks to select a position in the array other than the first to restart from, but I will do a little checking.

That is what I was expecting; I have read over the documentation quite carefully.

I feel like I wouldn't be the only person looking for something like this; the more copies you run in a single file, the more likely you are to need a way to get past a fault during the run.

With a bit of work I can create separate files that start at the beginning of a row or column, but it's impossible to start part way through a row or column and end up with all the desired positioned filled in. In a matrix with only 4 pieces in a row, it's not so bad to run back over 3 of them, but the more per row the less desirable this becomes.

Is there a way to submit a feature request for WinCNC? It would be fantastic to see this added somehow.

    Many thanks,
    Jim

    When you say: "

    You are exactly correct. Impossible.
