How to import .NC code into WinCNC from Rhino3d / MadCAM?

    Hi community,
Total newbie here, but trying to figure out how to post/import a .nc file from MadCAM into our WinCNC router. I do not think I have the proper "Post processor" file, if that sounds correct.

I have Rhino3D 4.0 and MadCAM v2.1 or so, and I was able to create toolpaths and post successfully to a .NC file using the default "ISO G-Code" post processor, but I don't think that's what I needed to import into WinCNC. I get an error code upon attempting to open the file in WinCNC.

Anyone else had any troubles with this? Got any suggestions / direction for finding a solution here?

    Thanks,
    - emf

    emf,

What kind of error are you getting ...bad file ...trouble in the code?

What happens when you run Simulate (under File menu bar)?

Have tried a generic 3 axis postprocessor other than the ISO?

Have you tried the file ext .tap instead of .nc?

What version of WinCNC are you running?

If it's certain command(s) you don't need. You can ignore them by added a line to the CNC.mac file.

M30=[ (this ignores any M30 commands)
