    welding helmets

I saw a lot of different models of helmets on the web.. from cheap to auto darken
etc.. Is anybody making a helmet that has no light pass thru the visor, but works by
making a lcd simulation picture on the inside of the visor based on heat images from the outside..But does not let any Real light go thru the visor..??? For people concerned with
    retinal degradation issues,, thanks

You mean you don't want to go blind?
Better wear a respirator also, fumes will hit you harder and faster over time. Watch the aluminum welding... Ever study alzheimer's?

Honest answer, haven't seen one yet, but I'm sure they will eventually.
