Hi everyone
Hi Everyone,
My name is Craig and this is my first post on the forum. This is a very impressive forum, I think I could get lost for hours and hours reading.
I have some questions.
I need to buy an entry level tig welder for aluminum. My budget is $2500 max, preferably around $2k or less. My primary purposes for this welder is thin wall aluminum tubing, around .090. Typical material is 6061 aluminum. Occassional steel work is likely to happen also.
I am reviewing the invertig 201 and the specs look good. I have only single phase power available 110 or 220.
I am also looking into similar level miller and lincoln machines.
What would you recommend for an easy to use machine for a rookie welder?

I would go with the Lincoln PrecisionTig 225. Around 2 grand and you get everything you need. Very easy to use and has pulse.
