| Eletric Arc The electic arc when using non consumable electrode can be divided in three parts: Catodic, Anodic and plasma column. Each one have got its length and the respective voltage drop. The voltage drop at plasma column is lower than catodic and Anodic parts. My question is: When I constrict the electric arc plasma, in cutting or welding plasma process, what happens to anodic and catodic region? Their lengths increase or decrease? Does the voltage drop increase or decrease? Does anyone have any idea about that ? |
