Lincoln 3200 HD - a good buy? A friend is offering to let me use his welder if I repair the gun, which has something wrong with it. I'm loooking to buy it from him outright, since he doesn't use it anymore. Is this a good welder for putting together a steel tube frame with 1/4" walls? Anything I should watch out for since it's used? Thanks! -D

The gun only has a liner, a tip and a switch....heck I would use.

Hmm. Maybe it will be easier to fix than I thought. He probably just got the tip shorted or something. Thanks!
