I am currently working on an alternative brazing preparation for a part from a helicopter engine. The Part is made of Stellite 31 and Alloy 75 and I need to remove residue from a former brazing operation. The braze was Silver Flo 55 and the repair manual suggests that we dip the part in a stripping solution for 6 to 24 hours.
I was wondering if anybody knew how to get rid of Silver Flo 55 by another method, because we don't have the possibility to set up a stripping bath.
Any input is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance and greetings from germany!
