X1 Micro-mill CNC conversion

Hi lads & lasses!
I've had the CNC bug now for a couple of years, and I recently went out and bought an X1 micro-mill chinese machine (same as Sieg, Axminster UK, Harbor Freight, etc) but from Machine Mart in the UK - Linky
Yes I know I've been ripped off on price!
Well now it seems my only option to convert it for CNC is via CNCFusion - Linky I'll be in need of the Micro-Mill CNC kit #1, as I already have all the associated electronics and steppers (although I'm not entirely sure the steppers are of sufficient strength to drive that heavy mill, esp the vertical axis).
Now I'm sure some of you on here may have bought from them before, but I can't say I can trust them having never dealt with them before, and they're the other side of the planet from me! And they're website hasn't shown any easily apparent updates for a while.
So has anybody dealt with them recently?
Also does anybody know anybody in the UK I might be able to purchase a motor mounting kit from as that'll be far more convenient for me.

Well and truly infected by the CNC bug!

This is our build log of our converted X1 mill spanning several years. Minor upgrades every few months when we have the time. When we first started we didn't know anything about metalworking/cnc and info was hard to come by.

We originally made our stepper motor mounts out of plywood. This worked "good enough" to mill out the final version of the motor mounts from aluminum. Alot of mistakes were made but at the end we now have a cnc mill that works pretty decent.

Take a look and you might see something that may help you convert your X1.
