    Smile CNC Router Purchase

Hi Everyone! I'm going to purchase my first CNC Router and I have narrowed my choices down to three companies.
    1. PCNC Automation (Texas)
    2. K2CNC (Anaheim, Ca)
    3. Shark CNC though Rockler

Does anyone have any feed back/opinions on these brands? I’m looking for a smaller tabletop router around 24X24. I plan to use this machine for woodworking. I like the PCNC 24X36 model but I can’t find many threads on the company. I’m also not sure if the rack and pinion drive is the best choice. I would appreciate feedback if anyone owns these models.

    Router

    Rmg21,

I have experience with the cncshark from rockler. I bought one 4 months ago.
It does a good job of recieveing the job, and running it without fail.

The only downside to it is a lack of rigidity in the table that is made of mdf.
I ended up making a tooling plate and redesigning the bottom gantry with a super stiff crossbar that has fixed this problem.

As my orders for product have increased, I am being hit with requests for larger designs than the shark can produce and having to turn them down.
I am looking into a larger machine. I would be willing to discuss a sale to you if you are interested in this one. It is the cncshark pro with the 24x24 size...will actually cut closer to 25 inches. It came with v-carve pro and that would be included. <I already own Aspire and don't use V-carve>

PM me if you are interested.

    Swain

    Hello Swain,

If you upgraded to Aspire your original VCarve Pro license cannot be sold or transferred to somebody else.

Let me know if you have any questions - tonym (at) vectric (dot) com

Have you purchased it yet? If so which one did you go with?
