    Fried PLC!!! Looking for this component

    Hi all,

    I accidentally fried my PLC.

    There is an obvious burnt smell on the component as circled. I believe it is an miniature PCB transformer. Am I right?

    However I can't figure out the ratings. On top of it, it says U09V08 D73.

    Appreciate if you guys can help me out.

    Cheers!

    Hi all,

    I realised on the PCB board it says "FIL1", what does FIL means?

    Is it a DC to DC converter?

    Thanks.

    Looks like it is part of a switching power supply.
    Is the transformer itself cooked, or circuit board or?
    May have to tackle rewinding it yourself.

    I have managed to unsolder it, and only it smell burnt, even the fuse is intact.

    I'm thinking of buying a standard part and get it replaced, if it's still doesn't work then I will just have to dump the whole thing to trash.

    It's looked like a transformer to me, not too sure about the rating, the coils looked about the same on both sides, probably serves as a 1-1 noise isolation thing?

    Does U09V08 rings any bell to you?

    U= primary?
    V= secondary?

    haha

    Usually these kind of parts are custom designed/made for the OEM, The chances of finding one off the shelf are slim.
