Best CNC mill for less than 5K

Hey guys what is the best cnc mill for less than 5k not including tooling? Most of the work will be on pistol frames cutting hard steel. Doing engraving type work and milling serrations and grooves. I'm new to cnc and i am wanting to know what the industry standard for cad software is because i would like to learn that I really want a turn key mill with everything but a computer with software. After i make the cad software what other software do i need? Do i need some software to send the info to the mill? Sorry guys I'm really new to this so sorry for the questions.

    Outlaw,

Why not CNC your ZAY7045FG, it would be fine for what you want to machine.

You would not need to purchase scales or a DRO readout and could apply the saved money to the CNC conversion.

You will need cad-cam software and Mach3.

Are you going to just engrave on flat surfaces?

I have thought about cnc the lathemaster but i also need a manual mill and the way most of the conversion kits are it would make using the mill in a manual mode impractical. But if someone knows of a super easy drop in kit for the zay class mills i would love to see it. Most of the engraving would not be on a flat surface. I would also like full 3d capabilities some time down the road.

Why not install a MPG, you can operate a CNC mill just like a manual mill.

The only difference would be turning the MPG instead of a hand wheel.

    See the video below.

It would be much easier than cranking hand wheels too!

CNC4PC has very innovative products and Arturo's customer service is awesome.

Look near the bottom half of the web page.

Once I used a MPG I would never go back to manual machining in a traditional way.

    Referenced Youtube mini-Mill?

Jalessi or anyone, do you know make and model of the mill in the upthread attached youtube video?

Not to common, an x table, y column, and a z head. Looks interesting and pretty stout for its size.

    ROV CNC,

    Straight as a bent arrow.

    "Cad" to "CAM" to "Mach3"
