    Which motors and controllers??

I recently got my hands on an abandoned Xenetech 13x13 engraver table. The servo control unit was toasted, so I sold the servos and want to use steppers instead. The frame is setup for NEMA 23 motors, I am only replacing the X and Y since the Z is already a stepper. The screws are 1/2 pitch. I need some advice on which motors to use. I intend to use Kcam to drive it.

I can make almost any DC voltage power supply, so that is not really a factor in my decision.

    Thanks in advance,

    The Master Smeat

    Hello,

I also have that machine and I am looking to convert it to use it with a PC running windows. I read this:

Convert Xenetech to G-code? - Sawmill Creek

I tried to register in the forum to ask him more details but I couldn't so I
sent an email to the administrator and I am waiting for his answer.
Maybe you can help me if you have more information on the conversion?
Did you find a solution to your problem?

    Many thanks
    Regards

    Marcelo
